The 700 Experience Welcomes John Bull Ltd.

As a leader in the Bahamian shopping experience for more than 80 years I am pleased to introduce John Bull Ltd. as a new interactive advertiser on The 700 Experience. Now in the third generation of family ownership, John Bull has truly positioned itself as a Bahamian Shopping Tradition.

Started as an Old English Tabaco company in the year 1929, John Bull – a namesake belonging to a central character in the British satire “Law Is A Bottomless Pit” – has grown to represent the leaders in luxury here in the archipelago that makes up The Bahamas. Established as the official Rolex retailer of The Bahamas and home to boutiques such as Gucci, David Yurman, Cartier and Tiffany & Co. it is no surprise that in 1980 Forbes Magazine ranked it with the likes of top stores in Hong Kong for best buys. John Bull’s flagship store – located in downtown Nassau at 284 Bay Street – is host to floor-to-ceiling Coastal Covet worthy items; how could it not be with a selection of Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Dooney & Bourke, all within reach? Host to six departments that include Timepieces, Jewelry, Leather, Cameras, Beauty and Fragrances – the list of brand names could go on and on. What differentiates the store from a Lord & Taylor or a Bergdorf Goodman you might ask? Other than a modest, yet carefully curated collection, and a flagship that is only steps away from Nassau’s bustling harbour, not much. Like many of the names it carries and the department stores it mirrors, the brand is steeped in tradition but stays on the cusp of what is trending in fashion.

Needless to say, with boasting approximately twenty-five luxury retail stores and boutiques throughout The Bahamas it should be on your Island Itinerary when visiting our islands. For a complete listing of locations visit here and stay tuned for exciting announcements and product launches here on the blog.

Thank you to the John Bull team for being a part of the experience.
