Five Capture Worthy

Time. There never seems to be enough of it. Especially when juggling wedding planning, preparing for the holidays and attending the many social events that command my calendar. In an effort to create some space, to be more present and live in the moment – instead of worrying will there be enough time to live in the next – I decided to postpone my trip to Long Island last weekend and not attend the 2013 Suunto Vertical Blue competition, instead I will pencil it in to next year’s travel schedule. It was only a few days later that I read, as did many around the world, that free-diver Nicholas Mevoli died after descending more 200 feet in an attempt to break an American record, although doing what he loved most. His death is a further reminder to cherish the time we have and live life to the fullest. My thoughts are with Britta, William and the Vertical Blue family during this difficult time.
