Juicy Hill

25°30′N 76°38′W – I imagine when Carrie Bradshaw said “so this is where all the light is kept” she was speaking of Juicy Hill in Harbour Island. Located on the highest point of the 3 and a half mile long by half mile wide island, this 3 bedroom and 3 and a half bath traditional style home welcomes in the rays; with high ceilings, plantation shutters, and boudoirs that lead you to a wooden verandah, how could it not? Dressed in floor to ceiling interiors, undoubtedly designed by renowned interior designer Tom Scheerer – his aesthetic being so highly unique – you feel as though you are in the pages of Verandah, Coastal Living or even House Beautiful magazine– a publication that was apt to agree. Wrapped in the ocean breeze and a verandah that defines all corners of this single-level island getaway, here you are the guest of honour at whichever table you choose to dine – with the choice of three it will not likely to be as easy as choosing your company. Days here are typical to begin and end with pink sand dusting your ankles as you leave only to return to the 2 acres of property dotted with lush palms – each offering respite from the balmy caribbean heat…now tell me can you see yourself here?

Are you sold? Perhaps? Make good on the wild idea of buying a home in The Bahamas and visit here. For those you that dream about you can rent it here.
