Island “I Do” Guide
The 700 Experience, an online travel and lifestyle blog about the 700 islands of The Bahamas announces the launch of founder, Vanessa Pritchard’s innovative new Island “I Do” Guide.
Inspired by the blog’s similarly named series of posts, which feature visual narratives of weddings hosted in The Bahamas alongside lists of participating vendors, founder and soon to be published writer, Vanessa Pritchard, creates the Bahamas’ most coveted online wedding directory, aptly called the “Island I Do” Guide. The launch, which is in response to meeting the demands of the local and destination bride, unveils the first phase in creating the most comprehensive online wedding guide for The Bahamas. Categorized by each island destination the new tool will feature a highly edited, handpicked selection of the Bahamian wedding industry’s most sought after vendors and will significantly enhance the online wedding planning experience for all brides-to-be.
Since the inception of the blog’s series The 700 Experience has been on the radar of both the local and Bahamas bound bride in search of a style and an experience which speaks to island life. “From the booking of a unique venue and the hiring of a know-all planner, to the introduction of a seller to a buyer in search of Bahamian coined cuffs, the blog has guided the bride and connected her with some of the industry’s finest.” says Vanessa Pritchard, founder and creator of The 700 Experience. Launching with three island destinations: Eleuthera, Harbour Island and New Providence/ Paradise Island, the goal is to list an additional island as early as next month, the destination – Grand Bahama. “My goal is two-sided,” says Pritchard. “One, make information more accessible to couples so they can save time and establish a real connection to our islands and those vendors who offer unique products and experiences, and two, bring group business to the guide’s advertisers by introducing their brand to a larger audience and therefore increasing their brand awareness and affecting their bottom line.”
Taking the tool one step further, upon readers selecting their island destination they can view vendor portfolios in more than twenty (20) categories and then connect with their preferred vendors via their website, blog, email, telephone or through social media; Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and/or Instagram.
The 700 Experience Island “I Do” Guide launches with the following members: Little Island Design, Ocean View Hotel, Boy Meets Girl Weddings, Pasion Tea and Coffee Company, Young’s Champagne and Fine Wine, John Watling’s Distillery, Coin Of The Realm, and additional advertisers to be revealed in the coming weeks.
