2. I first came across Cookie Kinkead’s photography of The Bahamas more than a year ago – when I launched T7E – and have since followed it devotedly. Now with the launch of her new website I can do so with far greater ease. (cookiekinkead.com)
3. This past week I was on the hunt for the original Lyford Cay Rum Dum cocktail recipe, as created in 1974 by bartender Wilfred Sands. Although said to be “the best kept secret” I think I may have found it here. Will be sure to take a sip test, or two, or three this upcoming holiday weekend when I try my hand at recreating it at home. (nytimes.com)
4. In the coming months I’ll be a part of telling the story of YNAGUA, a new-to-the-scene resort wear line inspired by the lifestyle of The Bahamas, here’s a visual introduction. (thegoldenpaillettes.blogspot.com)
5. This past week saw a very exciting meeting with the planners of Rum Bahamas. A Rum – Food – Culture festival to be celebrated in February 2014. (facebook.com)
