Announcing: The 700 Experience Trunk Show

With much excitement I am proud to announce that I will be hosting a trunk show under The 700 Experience brand at The Hope Town Lodge in Abaco on the 15th of this month. Staying true to the sentiments expressed under Island Gal, that as the blog would evolve I would with it, such has happened – or is happening.

In partnership with the Bahamas Boutique Hotel Group and UpSouth Resorts and Hotel – the new owners of the Hope Town Lodge – the trunk show will be held in anticipation of the mid-November opening of the first-ever 700 Experience Boutique. The boutique is set to feature a carefully curated selection of authentic Bahamian resort wear, jewelry and home decor – as well as select imports designed by international trendsetters of the costal lifestyle. While writing this may feel in-the-moment-surreal it is a career move that has been a long time coming. Not wanting to give too much away, as it’s still early days, I will share this – to create a physical space in which The 700 Experience brand can come to life and past and future Coastal Covet worthy items will be recognized is truly an honour. It is one of the most exciting and notable moments in my career to date, of course intertwined with hints of true entrepreneurial panic. Over the next 11 weeks, leading up to the grand opening of the boutique, I will feature an item a week and highlight the artist behind it in the Coastal Covet series, naturally. Each week that item will be featured in the square to the right titled “The 700 Experience Boutique at Hope Town Lodge, Abaco – Item of The Week” – be sure to check out this week’s item.
